Ava's Open House

Ava started a new school in the middle of August.  She kept telling us that she wanted to go to big girl school so we pulled her out of home care with the thought that she must be ready.  We were so worried that she wouldn't talk to anyone like she had done in the past at a school.  After a couple of weeks she is talking to everyone and has made a bunch of new friends.  She absolutely LOVES it!  She had open house at her school.  These are pictures of her with her teachers Mrs. Carol and Mrs. Mona.

Family Reunion & Water Play

We had a family reunion on Sunday.  We went took the kids for a walk after eating lunch and it was so hot and sticky that we let them play at the water park in their clothes.  Which is something I would normally not let my girls do in their clothes.  It was so hot it was either let them get wet or they will get sick from being too hot.  My girls were very hesitant at first because they had their clothes on but once they realized it was alot cooler they loved it.  Sad that mommy's little crazy ways about things are rubbing off on them.

Football Season has started

This means that cheer is in full swing.  After a bunch of hot summer practices we have started cheering.  IT is alot of fun to watch these kids play each year.  They have gotten taller than last year and are much more confident also.

Wilds of Africa

We have been members of the Dallas Zoo for atleast 6 years.  This year they opened the new Wilds of Africa exhibit.  We waited for a few months before venturing to see it because we new it would be crazy there.  It was so exciting to see this new area of the zoo for the giraffes and elephants.  They deserve their new home.  There are other animals that have moved into the exhibit but I just didn't post any pics of them.
