Home from Disney - Brr Rabbit!

We are home from Disney. This is what we arrived into Texas to. SNOW and LOTS of it! The temperature was 76 when we left Disney this morning and by the time we got home the temperature was 36.

So much for the nice sunny weather.

Disney Day 7 - Pictures and Goodbye's

We actually had tickets for 2 more days at the parks but by the end of Day 6 we were exhausted. Here are some pics of the girls.

Disney Day 6 - Magic Kingdom

Today we went back to Magic Kingdom so that the girls could ride some of their favorite rides again. We also saw Mickey and Minnie today. We stayed at the park for about 5 hours and then went back to get ready for dinner. We ate at O'Hana's which is located at the Polynesian Hotel.

Disney Day 5 - Magic Kingdom

Today we went back for the 2nd day at Magic Kingdom. Today we went to Frontierland, Adventureland, and Liberty Square. Grace rode Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. We also went to Tom Sawyer Island, rode the Haunted Mansion, rode the Jungle Cruise, and saw lots of fun shows. We ate lunch in Liberty Square at the Liberty Tree Tavern. We saw 3 different parades and stayed for SpectraMagic and the fireworks show so that we could see Tinkerbell fly out of the castle.

We learned that Grace can hula-hoop with more than one hula-hoop.

And yes, there are lots of castle pics. I loved watching it change colors.

Disney Day 4 - Epcot

Today we went to Epcot. I think we rode and saw every exhibit except the Test Track. The wait was 2 1/2 hours. No thanks! The girls had a great time. They loved Nemo, the Kidcots in the different countries and the rides. Grace got to ride Space Exploration and Soarin with Ashley and I. While Ava played at the playground at one ride and took a nap at the other. She actually fell asleep during a REALLY LOUD dinosaur show.

It's also the flower festival at Epcot so I attached a few favorites.

R, B and L - I attached the one meltdown picture of Ava for you. She wanted water in the middle of a line and we didn't have any. Also, no dirty outfits. I must be the Clean Nazi.

Disney Day 3 - Animal Kingdom

We went to Animal Kingdom today. Some of the days hits were the safari, the nemo show, and meeting LOTS of characters. Ava was alot more standoffish today but none the less we got some pictures with bribery. Which usually always works - not for Mickey though.

We had a few meltdowns in the morning but they weren't too bad for two girls who are walking the entire parks (no stroller) from 9-10.

We finished the night with dinner at Fulton's Crab House and shopping in Downtown Disney.

Disney Day 2 - Magic Kingdom

Today we went to Magic Kingdom. We started the day with breakfast at the castle with the princesses. Afterwards it was off to ride rides. We pretty much stayed in Fantasyland, Mickey's Toon Town, and Tomorrowland. Some of the rides we hit were It's a small world, Dumbo, Pooh's adventure, Snow White's Scary Adventure, Pete's barnstormers roller coaster. This was Ava's first roller coaster ride and she cuddled in close to me to hold her as tight as I could and then rode with her hands in the air. She was a champ. We saw Minnie and Mickey's house and lots, lots more.

Disney Day 1 - Hollywood Studios

Today we arrived at Disney World. The girls are absolutely beside themselves EXCITED! It is so AWESOME to watch their faces when they see everything. We spent the afternoon at Hollywood Studios where we saw the Playhouse Disney show, Little Mermaid show, lots of other shows. Ava wasn't too sure about the characters. She would hand them her autograph book but wouldn't give them a high fives and would only get her pic taken if she was the person standing the farthest away.

Our room has a side view of the castle where we ended the evening watching the fireworks show.

Double Rainbow - This is not a trick of the camera

We came home today to see a double rainbow. What an awesome sight!
