Ava's 1st and hopefully last stitches

Ava stepped on a plastic toy and it cut the bottom of her foot.  Requiring her to get 4 stitches.  For 10 days we had to carry her everywhere because they did't want her putting any pressure on her foot causing the cut to reopen.

Wanted!

One little girl who used the orange crayon to color the tile floor in my pantry.  Although I will let her remain nameless she gives herself away.  Never sign your artwork when your not suppose to color there.

10th Anniversary trip

Ashley and I took a trip to Cancun to celebrate our 10th anniversary, which was June 3rd.  We stayed at the Omni Hotel.  We laid on the beach for the 1st 3 days and just drank, read, napped, and swam.  Then we shopped and laid on the beach again.  We had a great time even though our trip was cute short because Ashley's grandmother passed away.

This guy was part of the Mexican themed dinner night.  He jumped through this rope so fast from left to right.  It was really cool.

We ate dinner at Captain's Cove one night and even had a dinner guest.  We ate at Captain's Cove when we 1st came to Cancun 11 years ago right after we got engaged.
Iguanas are everywhere in Mexico and this one just decided that he needed to poise for a pic.  We also had an area at out hotel that was fenced off because the sea turtles would come up to the beach at night and lay there eggs.  So every morning the staff would move and re-bury the eggs in the fenced off area.  They should hatch at the middle to end of September.

Meet Willy - Our new Pet Hermit Crab

The girls were promised a fish at the end of school last year and did not let us forget it for 2 months.  Mommy didn't want to buy a fish because she didn't want to have to explain why 2 days later it had died.  So my friend Kristie suggested that we get them a hermit crab.  So off we went hermit crab shopping.  Did you know that you can pick out hc's that have been painted and blinged out?

She is named after the new Free Willy - Pirates Cove movie.  She could really be a boy but she is painted pink and has rhinestones on her shell so we'll just say she.

This is how the girls feel when you try to get them to pick up Willy when she has come out of her shell to explore.
