Fishing, Playing, Swimming, & Eating

PawPaw took the grandkids fishing today at a local catfish pond.

They sat and waited patiently while watching their bobbers.



They each caught lots of fish.





So did their daddies and PawPaw.


They used teamwork to get everything back to the truck.


Waited patiently for the fish to be cleaned.


Then it was back to Grammy and PawPaw's house to play, swim, and play some more before they ate their catch. Although my girls weren't about to eat that fish after they caught it. It was just a bit too real for them. The kids had a blast today.

My girls did say on the way home that all they want is a fish that lives in a bowl at our house. I keep holding off on that because fish just don't live very long and I just don't want to have to explain that yet.

Happy 8th Birthday Mason

Saturday was Mason's 8th birthday party. He celebrated with a family party at Chuck E Cheese. The kids had a great time and so did mom. The party was at 10 am which is a GREAT time to go because there was hardly anyone there. Then there was a cookout at Aj & Sara's house for dinner. The kids all got to make their own Sundaes which they thought was really cool! Happy Birthday Mason!

Easter 2010

We had a great Easter with family. The girls woke up on Sunday morning and found treats in their Easter baskets. Then we went to Grammy and PawPaw's house for lunch and an egg hunt with Caleb and Leah.
