Pumpkin Patch

We finally had a clear enough day to go to the pumpkin patch to get pumpkins and pictures. The girls enjoyed getting a pumpkin.

Daisy Day Camp

On Saturday Grace and I went to Daisy Day Camp with our area troops. We went to Camp Rocky Point at Lake Texoma. It was 12 hours of fun!. The girls started the day with the flag ceremony. The day was then packed with tye-die, archery, camping try-its, flag ceremony, dinner, swap-its, and ended with camp fire and smores. Add in 5 girls, 4 snack times, and 2 hours of extra play time. It was a LONG but FUN day. I'm not prepared for when we actually camp overnight. You'll see why when you see the tents they sleep in below.

Halloween 2009

A picture of the girls in there Halloween/Thanksgiving dresses. Reverse the dress and it's got a turkey on it. Ava refused to wear a shirt or leggings under her dress. She kept saying that she would be sweaty. The mind of a 3 year old. I'll post a better picture if the pumpkin patch ever dries out.

Hawks Spirit Leader

Grace was the Spirit Leader this week. Each week 2 girls get a turn to be the Spirit Leader. They call all the cheers. Each girl gets to bring home the Spirit stick to decorate and keep for the week. Grace picked out lots of fun stuff from the mum section at Hobby Lobby to decorate. She added a cheer mom, cheerleader, and 4 bells.

BaBa Fairy please ....

bring us back our baba's. Mommy and Daddy need some sleep. Is it okay to give her back a baba so that I can get some much needed sleep. My bed is only queen size and doesn't fit 3 people very well. Especially when one of them sleeps the wrong way. I'M VERY TEMPTED!

What will you be doing on October 17th?

My cousin Candy is currently undergoing chemo for Breast Cancer so lots of family members will be participating in the Race For The Cure. Since we have football I signed up to Sleep-in For the Cure. What a great concept! Support the cause and still sleep late. Although I won't be sleeping late it's still a GREAT marketing concept. So what will you be doing on October 17th? Consider signing up to Sleep-in For The Cure or even Race for the Cure.

Hawk's Homecoming

We are having a great time cheering for the Hawks. We cheer rain or shine and luckily have only cheered through one raining game. They only call a game if there is lightning. The Hawks are still undefeated and are a GREAT team. It's alot of fun to watch them play.
This weekend was Homecoming. It all starts on Friday night with a cookout with the football and cheer teams. The girls do a cheer for the football team and then the girls and boys exchange gifts. It was cute! On Saturday it was wear crazy socks and the girls painted their faces. The girls got mums on Friday night but didn't get to wear them at the game.
