Happy 3rd Birthday Ava

My sweet baby turned 3 yesterday. It's amazing how much they change each day, month, and especially each year. Ava is a sweet natured easy going girl until someone pushes her button, that someone is usually Grace, once that happens there is no telling what could happen next. Here are a some sweet things about Ava.
- You wear size 2 clothes and size 6 shoes.
- You weigh ___ lbs.___oz. and are ___" tall. (details on Aug. 4th)
- You still LOVE your BaBa (pacifier) and lovee (blanket) and said that the "BaBa Fairy" can't have your BaBa's. You proceeded to say after our last discussion that all the babies would have to find different BaBa's from somewhere else because they can't have yours yet.
- You love legos, bristle blocks, babies, and books.
- You decided on your own just one month ago that you were going to wear panties and go potty by yourself. You haven't looked back since.
- You love to help yourself to any food in to cover your tracks. Although you have usually given yourself away because you proceed to tell Grace that you have something she doesn't and we all know what happens after that.

Ava's Handy Manny Birthday Party

Today we celebrated Ava's 3rd birthday with a Handy Manny swimming party. Ava couldn't wait to have a Handy Manny party. Handy Manny is all that she has talked about for the past month. We started the party out with a big thunderstorm that added lots of extra water to the pool and made it cold. Once the storm passed we enjoyed swimming, snacks, and a triple chocolate fudge cake with oreo's and creme filling. It was made by Oh Boy Baking Company in Terrell. I HIGHLY recommend this sweet lady for any cake's that you may need. Then the kids all got to fill their goody bags with candy from Mr. Lopart's candy store.

Summer Fun

We had a Summer Social with our small group this past Sunday. We had the best time. We think the dad's liked the waterslide more than the kids did. Thank you to The Greenwood's for having us all over to turn your backyard into a mud puddle.

"You know what I hate about the beach? .....the sand."

The title my dear friends is what my sister Sara said yesterday while sitting at the beach on our second day.

As for me the sand can be a pain at certain times but I LOVE IT! If I could live on the beach I would.

Anyway, we arrived at our vacation destination on Saturday around 1 pm. This time we took the ferry from Dauphin Island to get to Ft. Morgan. The kid's were ready to get down to the beach as soon as we arrived. We are having a great time playing in the sand, walking the beach looking for seashells, and just relaxing.

Enjoy some pictures from the 1st 2 days of our vacation.

Gotta Go! Time to enjoy a beer with my man!

I'm way far behind!

I have added a few updates from the end of May. Hopefully this will make some of you very happy! It's just been a busy few weeks. I've been trying to finish up some sewing and bow making before vacation. I have made 3 Tinkerbell dresses and hairbows. I really just needed to make one for my niece Leah for her birthday but my girls weren't happy with the idea of her having a Tinkerbell dress and not them so I made 3. I have also finished up some really cute cherry patchwork skirts and shirts and now I am trying to finish up some really cute Pirate outfits for vacation. Hopefully time drags so I can finish them. I promise to add updates during our vacation to Gulf Shores. The girls are so excited about vacation!
