How many takes?

How many shots does it take for you to get your Christmas card picture? I think I snapped somewhere around 250 photos. Remember that I have a really fast camera so that helps to get that many in a really short time period. I thought I would post a funny picture that I got. Not really sure what Ava was thinking.

Kid's Christmas Party

Every year for the past 3 years the girls have invited all of their cousins over for a Kid's Christmas party. We have snacks, make a craft, exchange presents, and most of all catch up on ALOT of playing. Today everyone came over and the kids made gingerbread houses.

Sweet Girls

It has been a very busy month. Between a sick child and lots of Christmas errands we haven't been home alot. Ava had a tonsil infection that caused her to run a 107.0fever. Because of this and some other things going on with her she is have her adenoids and tonsils removed next Friday.
The girls are enjoying all the fun things that go on this time of the year. Last weekend we went to Waxahachie to see Bethlehem Revisited. They really liked seeing the animals and Baby Jesus. The camels walking by them were a but scary since they were so big.

Curious George Live

We took the girls* on Thursday night to see Curious George Live. We had a good time and Grace and Ava loved the show. We sat about 15 rows from the stage and when we asked Ava if she would like to meet Curious George up close she said, "No, No, good from here, good from here. He should stay there."

*It was actually a debate all week to see if Grace got to go. She has this pre-pre-teenager attitude and lately it has been driving us crazy! Luckily she shaped up and got to go.

GOBBLE! GOBBLE!

I have to show off my sweet little red head in her Thanksgiving dress. She go ahead and warn us that she doesn't like to eat turkey. I just can't resist her sweet little red hair.

Pancake Breakfast for Veteran's Day

Grace's school had a pancake breakfast on Saturday morning. The kid's sang patriotic songs and introduced their veteran guest. Grace was so excited to introduce her grandpa. He served in the Army during the Vietnam war. Thanks Grandpa!

Fall Festival & Halloween

Grace and Ava had alot of fun this year for Halloween. We had our church's Fall Festival which was themed off of boardgames that we played when we were young. We then went to Grammy & PaPaw's house for our annual dinner and trick-or-treating. We even put Dusty's coat on him and took him trick-or-treating with us. Since all of the holiday activities are new to him we thought we should start getting him used to different things. He did really good.
